I keep on thinking that my work is over. . .
Except that I have to edit the edits, saying things like “No keep that superfluous word because of her ethnicity.”
The glory of being an author.
There have been a few more requests for an autographed copy. I am more than willing to work something out; I just find it hilarious.
2 Months, 1 day till release.
Contract is signed.
We didn’t feel the need to include an official signing witness. (Sorry ChefHater @ twitter.)
I’ve also been sent the PDF of the first editing. So, my free time tomorrow will be having the story up on 2 screens, seeing the changes made, then changing some of the changes. (Perhaps stopping to turn and face the strange.)
This Weekend in Indie Publishing
I’ve been working out ambiguities in the Tiny Toe Publishing contract and trying to convince people to cover design for me. So far, the good folks (well, folk)at FlashBulbProductions (http://flashbulbproductions.deviantart.com/) are seeing what they (well, he) can do.
Also, there have been a few (well, one) requests for an autographed copy. We can probably work that out for $2 more, just...
